Immigration Law and Hiring Talent
At a time when companies are struggling to find talent, how can immigration help fill the gap? What policy changes can we anticipate with regard to immigration and how will they affect hiring? This webinar will provide insight on recent changes that are improving hiring – automatic renewals, H4, expanded NIW and O category visas. We will also discuss how the 22 new STEM majors, added to the list of qualifying fields of study for the Optional Practical Training (OPT) Program, will create more opportunities to hire international STEM graduates for 3 years under the F visa category.
We will examine the work of our St. Louis Mosaic Project with regard to hiring – sourcing professional and international STEM students’ resumes for companies. Finally, we will also provide an update on Afghans being hired in St. Louis and the outlook for Ukraine.
