Speakers
Mr. Ryan O’Lynn, Director, Missouri International Trade & Investment Office – U.K.
As Director of Global Operations based in the UK, with responsibility across Missouri’s 12 international office locations spanning Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas, Mr. O’Lynn focuses on working with Missouri based companies to grow their export business in new International markets. in addition, he works with International companies looking to expand into North America. He holds a BA (Hons) in Human Resource Management and CII professional qualifications in financial planning with specific knowledge in portfolio management, commercial banking and organisational culture.

Mr. Lukas Josten, Regional Director, Missouri Department of Economic Development – Germany, Austria and Switzerland
Mr. Josten works to support companies exploring investment opportunities and implementing their expansion plans in Missouri. He also works extensively with Missouri exporters looking to develop trade relations with German and other European companies. Mr. Josten brings significant experience having worked for the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce in Thailand, as well as for Lanxess, Germany’s largest specialty chemical company and PricewaterhouseCoopers, in the finance and public management practice. He studied political science and public administration and holds two MA degrees from the University of Konstanz and the University of Warwick.

Ms. Nirit Tamir, Deputy Director, State of Missouri Israel Trade & Investment
Ms. Tamir provides assistance to Israeli hi-tech companies interested in entering US markets in addition to Missouri firms looking to export to Israel. She served as the Israel country manager at ICON – Israel Collaboration Network (Israel – California), connecting Israeli startups to Silicon Valley top tier investors and corporate executives. With an excellent understanding of the Israeli eco-system and solid business connections, Ms. Tamir is backed by 13 years of experience as an entrepreneur in various retail businesses such as establishing a chain of stores from A-Z, importing and exporting and trading on the Amazon platform. She holds a B.A. in Economics from Bar Ilan University and a Programming Certification from Technion Israel Institute of Technology.

Mr. Joe Hepworth, Director, Missouri International Trade & Investment Office – UAE
Mr. Hepworth has lived in the UAE since mid-2008 and worked in international trade & investment since 2011. During that time, he has supported over 90 international firms with their inward investment journey to the Middle East and provided trade & export advice to more than 400 others, resulting in more than USD $100 in local contract wins. He has close links with the many governmental trade & investment promotion departments in the region and is also well connected with the major private sector entities. Mr. Hepworth’s previous career includes 10 years in the container shipping industry with P&O Nedlloyd & Maersk Line in senior commercial roles in China, Russia, India & Holland. He holds a First Class degree in International Relations from the University of Hull (UK).
