TRADE MISSION TO LONDON, UK & STUTTGART, GERMANY JUNE 10-17, 2020
Join the World Trade Center St. Louis for a Trade Mission and Cardinals baseball in Europe, June 10-17, 2020.

The United Kingdom and Germany both rank in the top 10 export markets for Missouri with combined annual exports totaling more than $760 million. Both markets offer tremendous opportunity for St. Louis companies interested in increasing their global presence in Europe.

Mission participants will enjoy first-hand learning opportunities through:

  • Cities on the agenda – London and St. Louis’ Sister City of Stuttgart, Germany where we will take part in the 60th anniversary celebration activities.

Eligible companies may qualify for grants covering up to $1925 of registration fee in addition to possible hotel and travel costs through MO Dept. of Economic Development’s G-MAP and MO STEP=UP programs.

This trade mission also includes a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see the St. Louis Cardinals play the Chicago Cubs on June 13 and 14 at London Stadium. Tickets are included in participation cost.

WORLD TRADE CENTER ST. LOUIS, MAYOR & WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE VISIT CHINA – OCTOBER 2019 

WTC St. Louis, Mayor Krewson and Washington University School of Medicine Visit China

Based upon foundational work by the WTC St. Louis, Washington University School of Medicine has formed a collaboration with China-based Huici Health Management Co. to help with physician training and the design of a new medical center

ST. LOUIS TRADE & INVESTMENT MISSION TO MEXICO – APRIL 2019

The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and World Trade Center St. Louis led a multi-industry trade mission to Mexico City and Querétaro in April 2019. With 130 million people and a GDP of approximately $1.3 trillion, Mexico offers tremendous opportunities for St. Louis companies interested in increasing their footprint in Latin America. Mexico is the region’s second largest export market with annual exports totaling more than $1.5 billion. The delegation succeeded in developing deeper relationships with companies, officials and government organizations and gained a better understanding of doing business in Mexico.

ST. LOUIS TRADE & INVESTMENT MISSION TO ARGENTINA – November 2017

In the months leading up to November of 2017, St. Louis had explored interest in developing a deeper relationship with Rosario and Buenos Aires, Argentina. There were a number of business and people-to-people connections already in existence at that time. The trade and investment mission resulted in the development of new economic and cultural connections with a particular focus on agriculture and financial technology synergies.

ST. LOUIS INNOVATION DELEGATION TO IRELAND & FRANCE – July 2016 

In May of 2015, St. Louis native and US Ambassador to Ireland, Kevin O’Malley hosted a delegation of 23 St. Louis area leaders to Ireland to explore new relationships and business connections. As a result of the success of that visit, Ambassador O’Malley once again extended an invitation to World Trade Center St. Louis, to lead a delegation of over thirty regional innovators to Ireland and France in July of 2016 to further explore areas of collaboration.
